Bio
Adam Hobbs is a cinematographer originally from the small mountain town of Asheville, NC. He has spent the past few years overseas working in Asia and now lives in San Francisco. His work as a filmmaker and cinematographer has screened at Sundance, SXSW, and HotDocs. Selected works have been featured in The New York Times, Variety, Hollywood Reporter, Indiewire, The Atlantic, and Vimeo for its Staff Picks.
In 2015 Adam was cinematographer on FINDERS KEEPERS, a Sundance documentary feature directed by Bryan Carberry & Clay Tweel. The film is now streaming on NETFLIX with distribution thru The Orchard.
In 2019 Adam was cinematographer on GAY CHORUS DEEP SOUTH directed by David Charles Rodrigues and produced by Bud Johnston and Jesse Moss. The film is set to premiere at the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival in New York.
Along with Nils Clauss and Neil Dowling, Adam is a founding partner at CONTENTED, an international boutique production company that specializes in features, music videos and commercials.
